Metlink is lowering bus fares in the weekends leading up to Christmas, with FREE bus travel on Christmas day.
Starting from 3 December through to 24 December bus fares on Go Wellington and Newlands Coach services to and from the CBD are reduced:
Travelling 1 zone:
Adult: $1.00 Child: $1.00
Travelling 2 or 3 zones:
Adult: $2.00 Child: $1.50
These fares are available during the weekends – 3rd & 4th December, 10th & 11th December, 17th & 18th December and 24th December. Travel by bus on Christmas Day is free.
NOTE:
Discounted fares are not available on Airport Flyer, Valley Flyer, After Midnight or Route 210 Johnsonville – Porirua
