Earthquake Recovery Information Centre opens in Wellington

Today Justin Lester opened Wellingtons new go-to centre for Earthquake related help.

ERIC (Earthquake Recovery Information Centre) helps people and businesses to recover after the 14 November 2016 earthquake.

“We want to make things easier for people seeking access help, advice and support following the quake.”

The building is a 500 square-metre space in the Public Trust building that will now be filled with experts to help anyone affected by Earthquakes.

Location: Public Trust Building, 131 – 135 Lambton Quay (on the corner with Stout Street)

Opening hours:
10am – 6pm Monday to Friday;
10am – 2pm Saturday

At ERIC, the objective is to have all the key agencies and experts in one place to help business and individuals deal with post-quake issues quickly and more easily.

The centre can offer help and advice with:

-Support packages
-Earthquake preparedness,
-Business and employment support
-Health and welfare.
