Today 21st March the Ministry of Health has announced a further 4 positive COVID-19 cases in the Wellington region, including 1 located in the Wairarapa which may have no links to overseas travel.
Case 1: Male in 60’s. Arrived in Wellington on Saturday 14 March from Brisbane to Wellington via France, Singapore and Brisbane on flight Air New Zealand 828.
Case 2 Male in 30’s. Arrived in Wellington on Saturday 14 March from Los Angeles on flight American Airlines AA83 to Auckland and flight Air New Zealand 828 to Wellington.
Case 2 Male in 70’s. Arrived in Wellington on Saturday 14 March from Los Angeles on flight American Airlines AA83 to Auckland and flight Air New Zealand 828 to Wellington.
Case 4: Male in 40’s. Arrived in Wellington on Saturday 14 March from London on flight Singapore Airlines SQ321 to Singapore, to Wellington on flight Singapore Airlines SQ247 via Melbourne.
Case 5: Male in 30’s.
Case 6: Male in 50’s. Travel related, however flights outside of infectious period.
Case 7: Male in 50’s. Sydney to Wellington on 14 March – flight QF161.
Case 8: Male in 50’s. Travel related, however international flights outside of infectious period.

Wellington to Hamilton on 12 March – flight NZ5810
Hamilton to Wellington on 13 March – flight NZ5823.
Case 9: Female in 30’s. Dubai to Auckland on 12 March – flight EK44
Auckland to Wellington on 12 March – flight NZ433
