Wellington Mayor Andy Foster has today announced that most facilities will be closed until further notice. Both Porirua City Council, Hutt City Council, and Upper Hutt City Council have also announced this. This is due to COVID-19 situation in New Zealand, along with 9 confirmed cases in the Wellington region.

This will include
– Swimming Pools
– Libraries
– Community Centres
– Recreation Centres
– City Gallery
– Museums
– Venues

Zealandia + Wellington Zoo will remain open, however with limited services.
